1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DocXHelp, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the service.

These Terms apply to all users globally, with specific rights extended to EU/EEA consumers as outlined below. Please read them carefully before subscribing to or using DocXHelp.

2. Service Description

DocXHelp is a web-based platform offering a suite of AI-powered document tools, including PDF editing, conversion, merging, compression, AI summarization, and other document-related utilities. The service is provided by Aura Digital B.V., registered in The Netherlands (Reg. 53180712).

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any features, content, or service structure at any time without prior notice. Access to DocXHelp requires an active subscription.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use DocXHelp. If you are under 18, you may only use the service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements stated above and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Plans and Pricing

DocXHelp is offered as a recurring subscription service.

5. Payment

• All payments are processed securely through our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. We accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
• A charge of \u20AC0.01 is applied at the start of the 24-hour trial period. After the trial, the standard rate of \u20AC29.99 every 28 days applies unless cancelled before the trial expires.
• Subscription payments are charged automatically to the payment method you provide at sign-up. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method remains valid and up to date.
• We may perform a pre-authorization (pre-auth) on your payment method to verify its validity before your trial or billing period starts.
• Pricing may be shown or charged in currencies other than EUR (\u20AC), and may vary depending on your region, exchange rates, local taxes, or third-party payment processor fees.
• Prices are subject to change with prior notice. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice.
• Payments are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as described in our Refund Policy.

6. Subscription, Cancellation & Termination

6.1 Subscription Renewal

Your DocXHelp subscription renews automatically every 28 days at the rate of \u20AC29.99 unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a separate notice before each renewal charge.

6.2 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time using any of the following methods:

• Email: Send a cancellation request to help@docxhelp.com from the email address associated with your account.
• Phone: Call our customer care line at +31 970 1020 6459 during business hours (CET).
• Dashboard: Cancel directly from your account dashboard by navigating to Settings and selecting Cancel Subscription.

6.3 Effect of Cancellation

Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have full access to DocXHelp features until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period, except as required by applicable law.

6.4 Termination by Us

Aura Digital B.V. may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, misuse of the service, fraudulent activity, or any other conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the service or other users.

7. Digital Content & Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA)

7.1 Nature of Service

DocXHelp is a digital service delivered online. No physical goods are shipped or delivered. By subscribing, you acknowledge that you are purchasing access to a digital service.

7.2 Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the transaction date, under Directive 2011/83/EU (the EU Consumer Rights Directive).

Exceptions apply:

• If you begin using the service (e.g., log in, access tools, or process documents) before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, you acknowledge that you forfeit your right to withdraw.
• By starting your trial or subscription and using DocXHelp features, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge the loss of your withdrawal right.

To exercise your right of withdrawal (where applicable), email us at help@docxhelp.com with your name, email address, and order reference. Eligible refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your request.

8. Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your email and password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
• You agree to notify us immediately at help@docxhelp.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Sharing your account credentials with others is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of your account.
• Aura Digital B.V. is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, software, algorithms, documentation, trademarks, logos, and other materials made available through DocXHelp are the property of Aura Digital B.V. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any part of the service without prior written consent from Aura Digital B.V. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree to use DocXHelp only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
• Upload, process, or distribute content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other user accounts, or our systems and networks.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access or interact with the service in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the service without our written permission.

Violation of these acceptable use terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

11. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." Aura Digital B.V. does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free performance, or that the service will meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aura Digital B.V. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall Aura Digital B.V. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to your use of DocXHelp shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in subscription fees during the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

EU/EEA Customers: This choice of governing law does not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. You may bring claims in your local courts as permitted by applicable law.

13. Company Information

We aim to respond to all email inquiries within 24 hours. Phone support is available during regular business hours (CET).

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised effective date. Where required by law, we will notify you of material changes via email or through the service.

Your continued use of DocXHelp after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the service and cancel your subscription.
